I bought a EF 24-105L ii (good price) from a (reputable) eBay seller in late 2017 - I think it came from Hong Kong. I have bought two L lenses grey - a EF 24-105L (original) in 2013 and it was perfect. Not sure whether NZ has the same 5 year Canon as Australia does ? I live in a place where L lenses are very expensive (even moreso!), and there's not a huge amount of competition. FBX and import into Unity 3D they become grey.
